Play sets a new course: one strong brand, visible on every screen

After 30 years, the number is being dropped from the Play4 name. From now on, the Flemish channel will simply be called Play. The thematic channels are also getting new names: Play5 becomes Play Fiction, Play6 becomes Play Action, and Play7 becomes Play Reality.

Not only will the channels be renamed; GoPlay, the long-standing digital platform, will also be known as Play. All content will now be available under one clear brand: Play. The rebranding aims to make the brand stronger and easier to find in the changing television landscape.

Play is produced by Play Media, a subsidiary of the Telenet Group since 2018. Advertising sales for Play are handled by Ads & Data.
