DPG Media adds HUMO to free student subscription

DPG Media is adding HUMO to the free student subscription it has offered since 2025. Students in Belgium aged 16 to 25 now receive digital access to HLN, De Morgen and HUMO.

Students can take out the subscription using the details on their student card. They subscribe to one title free of charge, but receive access to all three titles. The digital subscription is available on mobile, cannot be shared and runs for the duration of the study period or until the student turns 25.

According to DPG Media, tens of thousands of university and college students have registered for a free digital subscription to one of the two news apps since launch.
