BRUZZ and AB to open 'Studio Steenstraat' radio and podcast studio

BRUZZ and AB will open Studio Steenstraat in February 2027, a new radio and podcast studio at AB Connect on Steenstraat in Brussels. BRUZZ Radio’s evening programme, featuring the DJs of BRUZZ Ice, will move from the Flagey building to the new location.

With Studio Steenstraat, BRUZZ and AB are not only investing in new radio and podcast facilities, but also creating a physical meeting place where media, music and young creators can come together. At a time when more and more content is produced and consumed digitally, the initiative brings a stronger sense of local presence and connection back into the city.

From 2027, BRUZZ Ice will broadcast live DJ sets four evenings a week. During the day, the studio will be managed by AB, with a focus on young creators, artists, collectives and AB Lab residents. AB also plans to use the space for workshops and student mentoring.

Construction will begin this autumn, with the renovation supported by the Flemish Community Commission (VGC).
