FVOD (Free Video on Demand) is a business model for delivering over-the-top (OTT) content that gives users free access to video-on-demand content. Depending on the platform, the service may be funded through advertising, public funding or other revenue sources. FVOD is often used to reach a broad audience or as part of a broader VOD strategy.

In Belgium, VRT MAX is a well-known example of an FVOD platform. The platform allows viewers to watch a wide range of TV programmes on demand free of charge. The service is primarily publicly funded and includes limited advertising shown before and after programmes, without interrupting the content itself.
